Conservatives Continue Hope For America's Failure

The talking heads of the conservative party are continuing to announce that they hope America (by way of Obama) fails.

MICHELLE MALKIN: When the President proposes things like trillion dollar budgets that have earmarks that he claims do not exist, yes, I hope that fails. When he proposes the same kind of wealth re-distributionist policies that had appalled me under the Bush administration, yes, I hope they fail.

RICK "MAN-ON-DOG" SANTORUM: ...absolutely we hope that his [Obama's] policies fail.

When asked, "Do you agree with Rush Limbaugh that we shouldn’t hope for President Obama to succeed?"

TOM DELAY responded: "Well, exactly right. I don’t want this for our nation. That’s for sure."

And just in case people didn't hear the leader of the Republican Party the first time he said he wants Obama to fail, RUSH LIMBUAGH once again explains:

LIMBAUGH: I am told South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford called me an idiot, not by name. But he said, “Anyone who wants Obama to fail is an idiot.” I don’t anybody else who said it. So, I guess he’s talking about– … Politicians have different audiences than I do and they’ve got to say things in different ways. So, after he said, “Anyone who wants Obama to fail is an idiot,” then went on in his own way to say, “Gosh, I hope this doesn’t work.” … He just had to say, “We don’t want the president to fail.”

Hell we don’t! We want something to blow up here politically. We want something to not go right. … We’re talking about freedom that is under assault!

And Limbaugh also admits that every Republican in the country hopes America fails:

LIMBAUGH: The dirty little secret ... is that every Republican in this country wants Obama to fail, but none of them have the guts to say so; I am willing to say it.
