We'll start with David Vitter: Airline Passenger. Last week, Roll Call (sub req'd) reported that David Vitter arrived late to a flight leaving Dulles, and although against the law, went through the closed jetway door, setting off alarms.
Roll Call didn't say anything about "impulse control", which makes me think of Dave's lack of it, and his dalliance with hookers...but that's just me.
Anyway, today, Roll Call is reporting that the TSA will be officially investigating the incident.
TSA policy, which may apply in this case, calls for a $2,500-$6,000 fine for “tampering or interfering with, compromising, modifying, attempting to circumvent, or causing a person to tamper or interfere with, compromise, modify or attempt to circumvent any security system, measure, or procedure.”
And since we're on the subject of David Vitter, there's this...we know that he voted against the Omnibus bill because he didn't like the earmarks. We know he had scads of personal earmarks in there. (He's number 5 in total dollar amount.) But you may have fogotten the failed earmark he shot for two years ago - it was for:
[A] Louisiana Christian group that has challenged the teaching of Darwinian evolution in the public school system.
David Vitter. Airline Passenger. Hypocrite. Anti-science moron. Senator from Louisiana...
